March Astrology 2022
This month always brings so much fire, light, and passion into our collective consciousness as the seasons begin to shift from dark winter to bright spring (Northern Hemisphere).
March’s monthly astrology themes are passion, influence, and equilibrium. The influence is coming from all directions–world leaders, our important relationships, and our subconscious thoughts. The passion bleeds into all areas of our lives, even when we really should be resting.
The Universe is always striving for balance. We are going to be getting plenty of opportunity to bring more balance into our lifestyles and habits this month.
There is no shortage of enthusiasm, daydreams, transformation, and innovation over the next four weeks. New things are blossoming all over the place! And it’s our job to let go of any resistance preventing growth.
We’ll see this theme of influence play out in our individual lives, and on a global stage. Given the current political climate (particularly in Eastern Europe), paying attention to what is being communicated and how will give us clues as to what’s coming and the best way to react to it.
New Moon in Pisces 2022
Dreamy, emotional Pisces loves an opportunity to start something new! Allow your beautiful imagination to run free, as long as it’s not turning into harmful self talk or anything like that. The New Moon in Pisces is on March 2 and it’s a beautiful energy to bask in.
How have your life dreams changed over the last few years? What do you value now versus what you valued a decade ago? New dreams and values require new courses of action, and now is the time to make those changes.
Design your Pisces New Moon Intentions around your new dreams, values, desires, and goals. No limits allowed–dream as big as you can possibly dream. Pisces energy will make this easy for you!
Whatever fears creep up during this work, acknowledge them, and send them back to the Universe. They do not serve your highest good.
Pisces adores a deep, interpersonal connection. Invite more intimacy into your life: with yourself, with your partner, with your best friend, and with the Divine and/or your team of Spirit Guides.
Your intuition is strong and trustworthy. Your faith is foundational and unyielding. Your heart is good and compassionate. Your soul is bright and beautiful! Believe it and it will be so.
Mars and Venus in Aquarius
On March 6, these two planets will both be shifting into the rebellious sign of Aquarius. Quirky meets intellectual. We’ll likely feel drawn to those who we can have deep, meaningful conversations with.
Surface level conversations just won’t do right now. We’re craving deeper connections, real authentic communication. Small talk and beating around the bush will probably piss us off really quickly.
This is a great opportunity to re-establish intimacy with like-minded people in your life. Or if you find yourself meeting someone new and wanting to talk to them all night long, do it!
Is there anything more fulfilling than a genuine connection with someone you love listening to, and who loves listening to you? These kinds of relationships are really special, and they will flourish now.
Mercury in Pisces 2022
The dreaminess of Pisces clashes with the logical energy of Mercury on March 9. While this powerful planet of fire is moving through the watery sign of the artist, thinking clearly will feel very difficult.
Daydreaming has its place in our lives. It allows us to come up with new possibilities and express ourselves creatively. But eventually, we need to pull ourselves back into our daily routines in order to really thrive.
Mercury in Pisces doesn’t have to be difficult of course. This energy helps bridge the gap between the conscious and subconscious mind. It allows the quiet, inner voice of the soul more freedom to speak clearly to us.
The theme of equilibrium is coming back into play here. It will be best to stay on the bridge between the subconscious and conscious minds as much as possible. Pisces has a tendency to get lost, and Mercury has a tendency to dominate.
Find that balance, and you’ll probably be amazed at how easy it is to hear your soul speak to you.
Full Moon in Virgo 2022
On March 18, the Full Moon in Virgo will illuminate the night sky! Full Moons are always good times to release and let go of what doesn’t serve our highest good. However, Virgo hates letting things and people go.
But, Virgo does love analyzing and planning. So use this time to reflect on what has gone well for you the last month, and what hasn’t. Think back to September 2021, when we had the Virgo New Moon. What has worked and not worked for you since then?
Once you’ve realized what isn’t working (habits, thought patterns, relationships, etc.), it’s time to make those changes. This doesn’t come naturally to Virgo, but with the Equinox happening in just a few days, it will be easier.
Meditation is quite important right now. Anxiety may be running high as emotions rush to the front of our minds. Whatever helps you feel calm and serene, do more of it. And give yourself grace for needing to rest.
It might be helpful now to make a list of all the things you’re really good at. Give yourself the credit you deserve! Because you’re awesome and you’ve accomplished so much in your life.
And find a way to do more of what makes you feel good. You owe yourself at least that much. Take care of yourself just as much as you take care of others.
Sun in Aries 2022
Yes! What a relief, spring has officially started! On March 20-21, we finally welcome the Spring Equinox known as Ostara, as the Sun moves into the fiery sign of Aries.
Aries energy helps us lead with conviction and strive for perfection. There’s an inherent spark of inspiration in Aries, and a strong motivation to dive in head first.
But Aries does have a tendency to get irritated quickly if they feel results aren’t coming fast enough. Aries wants success, right now. It’s more than capable of playing the long game, it just doesn’t want to.
Susceptible to burn out, Aries might be quick to give up and declare “it’s not working” because of the complete lack of patience. Luckily, Aries season always coincides with the start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. This is a great reminder that nature doesn’t rush, yet accomplishes everything.
Bring this philosophy into your projects and goals. Aries will lead you to success if you’re able to find that equilibrium between making quick progress and enjoying the process.
Mercury in Aries 2022
The dizzy dreaminess is coming to an end, for now. Mercury is much more comfortable in Aries as it’s a powerful fire sign. On March 27, you might find yourself saying whatever comes to your mind without much of a filter.
Be careful to not cause harm with your words as Mercury moves through Aries. We’ve been given a gift of direct and candid communication. Don’t let that bleed into “brutal honesty” that is uncalled for.
We all know the sort of person that claims to be “honest” when they really just don’t think before they speak. Or they believe their opinion is worthy of being heard by everyone. This is the type of energy being created with Mercury in Aries.
It would be wise to think before you speak. Ask, “Does what I am about to say improve the situation?” Most of the time, it will! Use discernment to decide when to hold your tongue.
